A herbarium that grows with you
Hold the camera to a leaf, a flower or a whole plant. Recognition runs on your phone, so the answer usually arrives in a moment without anything leaving it. When the phone cannot name what it sees and you are online, one photograph goes to our server for a second opinion and is dropped as soon as the answer comes back — and there is a switch for that in settings.
Every plant you keep becomes a labelled specimen with a number, a date and, if you want it, the place you found it. The collection is yours: it lives on the device, and it can be exported whenever you like.

Your photographs stay on your phone
Recognition happens on the device. The photographs you take are kept on your phone and are not sent anywhere.
Analytics and crash reports are collected only if you allow them, and they never include your name, your email, your photographs or an advertising identifier. You can turn them off at any time in Settings. An account is optional and exists only to carry your herbarium to a new phone.
